A Typographical Wallpaper: i’mpossible

The i'mpossible wallpaper pack

So, after offering a sneak peek on Forrst and receiving rather a lot of positive reactions to this, I have decided to get my firm, manly butt into action and finalise this wallpaper pack.

Meaning?

This wallpaper is just a little idea I’ve had floating in my head for a while now and serves as a general expression of my optimism in the human potential. If it helps you in some small way, then my work here is complete.

  1. Why 16:8 and not 16:10? I think there are more displays with that ration rather than 16:8… Also there are a lot of phones with qHD resolution… a native version for them might yield a better result than the downscaled version of 16:9 one… just a few suggestions, you’re the artist :)

    • Izo,

It was my understanding that 16:8 is getting increasingly popular, in any case the source file SVG is included so people can make whatever resolution they want. =]

      • I’ve noticed the SVG after posting the comment… sorry for that, however I couldn’t find a device/display with that ratio (maybe I googled for the wrong stuff) and I’m very curious now… I remembered though another format used in displays and one phone I know of: 21:9 (cinema) :)
