New Logo Design for Marianne’s Attic

New logo design and brand I produced for Marianne’s Attic – a new business specialising in selling handmade, vintage, upcycled and unusual accesories and children’s clothes and toys, as well as products for adults like keyrings made from scraps and cutouts from reclaimed books. The client enjoyed the imagery of a child looking in a chest full of old and unusual stuff to sell on. They wanted a “Bright, quirky, unusual, clear” design. I employed an orange colour scheme, for its bright look and energy, a simplified 3D gradient chest and modded the “A”, which to me looked like the top of a house (attic), to gain a chimney with stylised smoke. This design will be the basis for eBay shop banners, market stall banners, letteheads, business cards and a website.
